Cleveland Creates is a juried exhibition of original works by ARTneo members in the Northeast Ohio region. The exhibition showcases the great talent and quality of contemporary art being created in our region, supplementing ARTneo's regular programing of regional art historical exhibitions.

The first place winner will be able to exhibit three works in the Cleveland Creates exhibition. They will also receive a one person exhibition in the ARTneo gallery at 78th Street Studios.
Second and Third Place
The second and third place winners will be able to exhibit two works in the Cleveland Creates exhibition. They will also receive a two person exhibition in the ARTneo gallery at 78th Street Studios.
The exhibitions will be scheduled between the end of the 2015 Cleveland Creates and the beginning of the 2017 Cleveland Creates exhibitions. The exhibitions will run for the period of 4 to 6 weeks with an opening reception during one Third Friday.
About the jurors
Helen Forbes Fields
Helen Forbes Fields is a partner of Forbes, Fields & Associates Co., L.P.A. She has served on several boards throughout the City of Cleveland, including Karamu House, Cleveland Institute of Art, and the Cleveland Arts Prize. Currently, she serves as a Trustee for the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and on the Advisory Committee of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art.
Loren Naji has a BFA in painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art. He currently run the Loren Naji Studio Gallery in Ohio City and Satellite Gallery in Collinwood. Naji also helps run Naji, Naji and Tekler at 78th Street Studios. He has shown his own work in The Cleveland Museum of Art and various other galleries and exhibitions.
Christina Vassallo is the executive director of SPACES. She was previously the executive director of the Flux Factory in New York City and has a master's degree from New York University in visual arts administration. While in New York, Vassallo taught high school students at NURTUREart and owned her own gallery, Random Number.
