2012 marked the second year that Cleveland Artists Foundation collaborated with Octavofest, the city-wide organization dedicated to advancing the appreciation of book and paper arts. The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory, Cleveland State University Library, Art Books of Cleveland, and Ohio Center for the Book at Cleveland Public Library founded Octavofest in 2009, and the organization now boasts a number of local partnering organizations.
Art Books Cleveland (ABC) is dedicated to exploring, encouraging, and teaching both contemporary and traditional artistic practices of the hand-made book. Its membership is open to both experienced and beginner, providing opportunities to exhibit and promote their work, while sharing their individual skills with each other through member workshops. One of the original founders of Octavofest, this organization is devoted to advancing the appreciation of bookmaking and the paper arts.
